David Thompson insists he has returned a stronger player from the injury problems which have hampered his career as he prepares to make his Bolton debut against Fulham tom.
The 29-year-old former Blackburn midfielder said: "Every footballer has to experience some tough times. It is how you react to them and I am a stronger person now.
"It is just getting an opportunity to show that."
