THE annual Lancashire Telegraph Grassroots Heroes Awards take place next week where the great and good of local amateur sport will be honoured.

The awards, now in their fourth year, have once again been sponsored and backed by United Utilities and the event will be held at Mytton Fold Hotel, Whalley Road, Langho on Thursday, January 29.

Their are 10 categories and the shortlist is:
