QPR boss Harry Redknapp is wary of the threat posed by the Burnley attack ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League fixture against the Clarets at Turf Moor.

Danny Ings, like R’s striker Charlie Austin, have both impressed since making the step up to the top flight and Redknapp believes the pair have proved their worth this season.

“Danny and Charlie have both been terrific,” he said.

“I’ve seen a lot of Danny over the years, following him since his time at Bournemouth. Him and (Sam) Vokes both came from Bournemouth and have developed well.

“They’re a similar story to Charlie – and all of them have proved just what they’re about so far this season.

“It’s great to see young lads like them doing so well.”

Rangers head into the clash against Sean Dyche’s men in 16th place, two points above the Clarets, who sit in 19th.

Redknapp added: “It’s a big game this weekend.

“Turf Moor is a tough place to go. Sean has done a great job there.

“They came up with ourselves and Leicester last season and have done well. They’re a good team.

“There are no hidden secrets between the sides – we know what they’re about and they know what we’re about.

“We’ve had a big run of these games at home against teams down there with us and done very well in them – and now we’ve got them away.

“We know our away form needs to improve and we’re looking forward to going to Burnley and giving them a right good game.”

Loan signing Mauro Zarate is likely to be involved for the first time at Turf Moor and Redknapp has welcomed his arrival, commenting: “Mauro has come in and he’ll complement Charlie and Bobby (Zamora).

“He’s trained this week, he’s a good player and we’re pleased to have him here.”

Redknapp also revealed Sandro, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury, is set to return to action in the coming weeks.
