MICHAEL Corbett was left pinching himself after he became the latest winner of a Blackburn Rovers Golden Ticket.
The 47-year-old from Darwen has never won anything in his life before.
So he was delighted when his name was pulled out of out a hat after hundreds of supporters had entered to win the Golden Ticket given away by the Lancashire Telegraph.
Corbett, who works at Royal Blackburn Hospital, is now looking forward to attending all of Rovers’ Championship matches at Ewood Park this season.
He said: “I’m shocked as I’ve never won anything.
“Hopefully Blackburn will be a force this season and I’m looking forward to the Cardiff game.”
Rovers are giving away 20 Golden Tickets for the 2014/15 campaign to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the club’s Premiership title triumph in 1995.
