KEVIN Gallacher celebrates the first anniversary of his G8 Soccer School when he holds his latest coaching camp.

The former Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle and Scotland striker holds two, week-long courses behind Salesbury Memorial Hall on August 18-22 and August 25-29.

The coaching will be open to two age groups, eight to 10-years-old and 11 to 13-years-old.

And once again, Gallacher will be restricted numbers to give youngsters the best chance of getting the most out of his expert advice.

It it is the fourth soccer school Gallacher, a UEFA and FA licensed coach, has hailed since launching G8 last year.

“When I set up but intention was always to try and work in small groups and now as we approach the first anniversary that is something I am doing,” said Gallacher.

“Workng in small groups makes it fun and enjoyable and gives the youngster the best chance to learn to skills and develop as young players.”

Gallacher is also looking to take on an assistant for the two weeks coaching course and is seeking a coach who has a basic level one coaching badge and is CRB checked.

Prices are £70 per week or £20 per day. For more details about the course or coaching, contact Kevin on or visit
