Rugby union: Still time to get in Touch
TOUCH Rugby sessions continue at clubs across East Lancashire as they encourage more players to return to the game or take it up for the first time.
Burnley RUFC and Blackburn RUFC hold their summer touch rugby sessions every Tuesday throughout June (7pm start) while Clitheroe meet every Wednesday (7pm).
At Burnley, more than 30 different players have attended its two opening sessions – including four newcomers to the sport and members of its junior colts team.
The Summer Touch at the Holden Road club has been supported by Sportivate funding.
