Very versatile pro and good servant to the club. Nice bloke too.

The trolls have obviously got their account set so any Burnley FC story gives them an alert. Sad beyond belief, but no doubt when not poisoning the internet they stand in an upstairs window slavering and shaking their fists at the Burnley bus. Why not go the whole therapeutic mile and buy some Burnley loo roll so you can titter with all your like mindless mates?

Will watch for Edgar doing what he does best next season. Good luck to the guy.

The fans of Blackburn Rovers have had no say in who bought the club or in how it is run. Burnley fans should thank their lucky stars that the disaster that has struck the Rovers has not happened to them (yet!).
The fans are no way on the side of the owners, their only concern is the club itself. They fully understand that without the Venky's support the club would be more in the mire now that they have realised what they have done to the club. There is progress being made. But! The sooner they are gone the better.
Just think Burnley fans it could be your club next, especially as you are now in the PL ripe for the picking.

This is indeed a "back handed " compliment to Burnley FC, never have I heard such a statement from a No Dad toerag, perhaps hes looking for support when the authorities enforce the required restrictions on his Chicken Farm estate..............
no f-ckin chance from the Clarets.

Pathetic jealousy once again from the no-dad.

Everything balances itself out in the end. You had your day in the sunshine courtesy of Jack Walker but at what longer term cost to your club?

Burnley on the other hand have achieved their position amongst the elite through pure hard work and dedication. There has never been a more deserved promotion in the history of the game. We have risen from the depths to secure an incredible promotion and a reported £120million+ windfall securing the future of the football club for many, many years. We have a boardroom full of Burnley supporters who are sensible and measured in their business, the hiring of Sean Dyche tells you all you need to know about our directors. We are now arguable the best run club in the country.

The top and bottom of it is that every single nightmare scenario has come true for Blackburn Rovers fans... and it makes you so bitter and angry you simply don't know what to do with yourselves..

1. Your team of rubber dingy men are relegated
2. Jack Walker cries as his £100million+ investment is flushed down the toilet in front of his very eyes.
3. Jack Walker dies
4. The Walker Trust keep you afloat long enough to sell you to INDIAN CHICKEN FARMERS!
5. Relegated in disgrace Part II, this time with a caped chicken on the pitch
6. Beaten by Burnley at Ewood Park
7. Burnley secure automatic promotion to the Premier League
8. Burnley prevent Blackburn Rovers from reaching the play-off's

The money that Jack Walker pumped into your club is now hanging like a lead weight around your scrawny neck. It's only fair and just that you have been passed into the hands of the Venky's, it's called Karma. The Walker family never wanted this parasitic drain on their finances and offloaded you to the first morons with a bit of spare cash. It was good riddance from them, never to be seen or heard from again.

For the shameful splashing of millions of pounds to buy yourselves a false position in the top flight you have now got what you deserve, no more, no less.

Enjoy your years in the wilderness, we've been there and it sucks.

In Venky's we trust.

Ha ha ha - you reap what you sow, all those years of chanting about how loaded you were and how you falsely inflated the transfer market and just look at you now, scratching around in the Second Division doldrums without a brass farthing to your name.

As for 'The fans are in no way on the side of the owners' statement - you should be, because they quite literally are holding the life of your pathetic clubs in their greasy, chubby fingers.

I hope they pull the plug and you plummet into oblivion.
