BRENTFORD have confirmed the signing of Blackburn Rovers midfielder Alan Judge.

Judge had a successful loan spell at Brentford during the second half of the 2013/14 season and said last week that he was open to a move to Griffin Park if he was not likely to get regular football at Rovers next term.

Brentford are getting ready for the Championship in 2014/15 and had been pressing ahead with talks over a deal, growing ever more confident over the weekend of getting their man.

The Bees agreed a deal with Rovers as well as personal terms with the player, and have now confirmed the signing.

Judge has signed a three-year contract at Griffin Park.

Makes a lot of sense as he was too good to be a fringe player in my opinion. We just need to get rid of the other dummies we have on the books that we have no intention of playing.

Aye good luck Judgey in my opinion you were never given the credit you deserved, always worked hard for the team. Never given quite the games he needed but this was due to having too many players all with the same ability and playing in the same midfield position. Look forward to seeing you on your return to Ewood just don't play too well when you do.

N H obviously finds it far more interesting to read about the mighty Rovers than his own club...to be honest he probably won't be a real fan of Burnley and is more likely to be in prison with nothng better to do to pass his time on. Still the obsession with any Rovers report is odd.....then again should we be surprised because we are a very interesting club.
The good news is that he has no idea about anything he writes about.

I notice you no longer ask me about Kieran Trippier... I wonder why that is...

Oh yes, because he's signed a contract extension at Burnley and committed himself to us for the next THREE YEARS.

A bigger worry for you clowns however should be whether you keep hold of the manager you all seem to rate amid rumours he's going to take a step up to manage Leeds. Let's be honest, it's not much a choice, stick with Blackburn Rovers under a transfer ban, be forced to sell all your players of value, and have to endure a monthly trip to the back of beyond to answer to the most clueless owners in the history of football...

or have a fresh start with a sleeping giant of a club under new ownership with large financial backing and real prospects of competing at the top end of the division..

"New owner Massimo Cellino, whose net worth is estimated to be around £750million, has targeted Leeds United's return to the Premier League by 2016. Cellino’s aim is optimistic, but having established the provincial club of Cagliari in Serie A, if anyone were to return Leeds to the Premier League you would have to back Cellino to deliver."

Squeaky bum time once again for the no-dads. I believe Venky's still have Steve Kean on speed dial. Could the great man return to rescue you?

A good move for all concerned. Judge is good enough for this division but he's just not good enough to be a guaranteed starter with us. Brentford get a decent player and we receive a fee and get some wages - albeit, not very much - off our books. Also good to see that Bowyer and the club have already reassured the fans that there is no substance to the Leeds United rumours.

That p!ssed on Crazy Ralph's cornflakes sooner than he expected.

No decent players will come to rovers - wrong (cairney, Conway, gestede)
We are going bankrupt coz of fairplay - wrong (try reading the facts about fairplay)
Our gates are smaller than the dingles - wrong
Our season tickets would go up when venkys asset strip us - wrong

Large financial backing?

Leeds are losing £1 million a month, so being an expert on FFP like you are means that you'd know that they will be getting a transfer embargo too.

They have also made redundancies across the board and recently closed down their training ground.

A bit like Burnley - they don't have a training ground either.

You don't even think about what you write do you? You're obsessed with FFP sanctions as some kind of 'punishment' for spending money on players and then proceed to big Leeds and their owner up as a club that are going up because they have money to spend. Those two things don't work together I'm afraid, because if these rules are worth the paper they are written on it doesn't matter one jot how much money Leeds might have or might want to spend.

Sad to see Judge leave but he wants to play.i would have loaned him till jan because it could be all hands on deck then.we need to sign enough players in the summer to cover FFP.
