WHINNEY Hill, who host Burnley Belvedere tonight in the league’s final fixture of the 2013-14 campaign, warmed up with a 3-0 win over Barnoldswick United last weekend.
Meanwhile, East Lancashire League champs – The Ivy – did not have all their own way, signing off with a 1-1 draw against Oswaldtwistle St Marys at Heys Sports Complex.
Read United were the big scorers in the reserve division, overcoming Mill Hill 6-3.
Langho were also in the groove, thrashing Rock Rovers 4-1 at the Ryddings.
Stacksteads St Josephs and Enfield could not find a goal between them, though, as they finished all square at the Recreation Ground.
