COLNE pair Darryl Wright and Steve Clamp will be flying the flag for local bowlers when the St Andrews Bowls Classic 32 Invitational takes place next month.
The competiton, which has a total prize fund of £2,025, is one of the main events in the local bowling calendar and has attracted the top players from across north of England.
The Burnley club will play host to bowlers who will travel from as far afield as Stoke, Kendal and Manchester for a competition which is sponsored by McParland & Partners Financial Management Ltd and Burnley Insurance Bureau.
The competition at the Abinger Street club will take palce on Monday, May 5 with the action starting at 10am.
