Rossendale 26 Penrith 7 Following defeat away to Morley last week Rossendale re-discovered the winning formula with a resounding bonus try 26-7 win at home to Penrith.
Rossendale took the lead with a try from Jamie Albinson off a scrum, Steve Nutt adding the conversion.
Penrith came back just before the break with a ty from Jamie McNaughton converted by Mike Fearon to level matters at 7-7 The second half was all Rossendale. Leyton Taylor went over, standing out after two phases of driving play after a five metre scrum had sucked fringe defenders. Nutt again on hand with the extras.
Rossendale added further tries through Tim Fourie with Tom Albinson with Nutt adding one more conversion.
Rossendale host Huddersfield on Saturday.
