GOLDEN boot Michael Sargeson led the charge, scoring four times as in-form Abbey FC crushed Hyndburn Athletic 5-0 in Division Two’s biggest win of the day.

Connor Brierley was also on the mark as Abbey produced another excellent away day performance. Rosegrove Railway also turned on the style, with Luke Riley and Steven Simpson netting in a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Water FC.

Sydney Street WMC FC edged out Crown Athletic 4-3, while Globe Bullough Park FC cruised to a 2-0 win at Bay Horse.

In Division One, Reece Clark, Matt Feeley and Ryan Walsh shared the goals as Arden Athletic grabbed a 3-2 victory at St Mary's College OBFC.

Carl Leach and Anthony Wardle scored for the home side.

Burnley Road romped to a 5-3 win at Hapton FC, with Graham Landon (2) and Chris Landon on the scoresheet for the home team.

Great Harwood cruised to a 3-1 win over Oswaldtwistle St Mary's A while Whinney Hill Reserves (James Price) were put to the sword 5-1 by in-form Newchurch.
