WEST Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is under pressure after his side shipped 11 goals in consecutive cup games.

West Ham's 6-0 League Cup semi final first leg loss at Manchester City followed a 5-0 defeat at Championship side Nottingham Forest in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.

The Hammers board are still said to be backing the former Blackburn Rovers manager.

Are they right to do that?

I reckon he's better off there. He has a board who appear to want to stick with him when the going is tough, he never received that courtesy at his previous place.
