Fence sit on top after Timmy T's tumble

TOP dogs Fence are running away with the Pendle Charity League Premier Division title.

The Fence boys ran riot again, destroying Timmy T's Clarets 5-1 to extend their lead at the summit to nine points.

Second-placed Trawden Venue have a game in hand on the leaders and they stayed in the hunt with a 4-0 win over Sacred Heart United.

Paak A boast the same points haul as Trawden and scored a hard-fought 1-0 win at Colne Town, while George and Dragon defeated Sacred Heart by the same scoreline to ease themselves out of the bottom three.

Graham Engineering Redskins Veterans remain out in front in Division One, but the leaders had to work hard to overcome Sacred Heart Celtic 2-1.

SKK Blacko are hot on their heels though, and Blacko kept up the pressure with a thumping 5-2 win at second bottom club Bar Boogie.

Financial Affairs cashed in again, defeating third-placed Pendle Blues 3-1 as they clocked up their second win of the campaign.

Barnoldswick Barons and Boca Clarets shared a 4-4 thriller while Free Gardeners Arms lost 5-4 at home to Paak B.

Real Pendle are building up a head of steam in Division Two, and they closed the gap on leaders North Valley Rangers to a single point after hammering them 5-2.

Paak C smashed Barnoldswick Barons Veterans 9-2, leaving the Vets the only team in the league without a point.

Pendle FC are also going well, thrashing AFC Union 5-0, while Queens Dynamoes, in third spot, surprisingly went down 3-2 at home to AFC Veterans.
