BURNLEY have signed former Blackburn Rovers and Accrington Stanley youngster Micah Evans on a one-year contract.
The 20-year-old right-sided midfielder has been with the club's development squad over recent months following his release from Blackburn, where he had progressed through the youth system.
Evans was loaned out to Accrington Stanley while on Rovers' books.
He made 24 appearances for the League Two Reds in the 2011/12 campaign, and scored his first senior goal on his debut in a 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers in November 2011 - with Burnley loanee Kevin Long grabbing the decisive goal.
Evans went on to have loan spells with Chesterfield and Macclesfield Town last season.
He initially joined the Clarets on trial last summer and after impressing in a number of games for the development squad earlier in the campaign, he has penned terms until the summer of 2014.
