CHILDREN can get in for a quid at Blackburn Rovers’ next home game.

Tickets for children under 16 cost just £1 for the visit of Middlesbrough to Ewood Park on Saturday week.

Rovers have also slashed prices for adults, students and seniors for the Boro clash.

Adult tickets in the RFS Riverside Stand, Ronnie Clayton Blackburn End, Bryan Douglas Darwen End and the wings of the Jack Walker Stand cost £12.

Tickets for students and seniors in the same sections of the ground cost £6.

Students wishing to receive the discount must register their details with the club by providing evidence in the form a valid NUS/UCAS card.

Rovers, meanwhile, will be roared on by almost 2,200 supporters against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road on Saturday. The club have sold out the remaining tickets of their allocation.

n YOUNG Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Edwards’ loan at League Two outfit Chesterfield is scheduled to come to an end today.

The 20-year-old centre-back has played seven times for the Spireites during his three-month stay with the club.

Edwards’ latest appearance came on Tuesday night as second-placed Chesterfield came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home to York City.
