BURNLEY manager Sean Dyche and defender Jason Shackell have been nominated for the Championship manager of the month and player of the month respectively.
Dyche steered the Clarets to 10 points from four games in September and faces competition from Millwall’s Steve Lomas, Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson and Watford manager Gianfranco Zola.
Shackell, who was part of a defence that conceded just two goals in September, goes up against QPR goalkeeper Robert Green, Reading midfielder Danny Guthrie and Ipswich striker David McGoldrick.
