THE Blackburn Rovers Action Group have urged the FA to publicise findings from any investigation into the club – although the governing body are making no comment over reports that a probe is ongoing.

Reports claim that the FA are holding an ongoing investigation into issues at Rovers surrounding the takeover of the club in 2010, as well as events since then.

The FA declined to comment when approached by the Lancashire Telegraph.

BRAG met with the FA’s head of integrity David Newton last summer to hand over a 400-page document, detailing the findings of their own inquiry into the running of the club.

Mullan now says that if the FA are investigating events at Rovers he hopes they can reach swift conclusions and believes they should make public all of their findings.

“It’s good news if an investigation is ongoing,” he said. “From the point of view of our committee, on behalf of our members, I just hope that they make public all the findings so that everyone can see them.

“Whether they find anything or not, I think they should make everything public because people just want closure on this.

“We have around 700 pages of documents now. We had 400 when we met the FA.”
