BURNLEY are on level terms at half time in this afternoon’s Championship fixture at Bolton Wanderers after a quiet opening period.

Craig Dawson headed Jay Spearing’s corner just wide for the hosts before the Bolton defender again freed himself from a set piece, only to see his effort kept out by the feet of Lee Grant.

Burnley felt Zat Knight might have been shown a red card when he hauled down Danny Ings in a promising position, only for Chris Foy to instead opt to book the Bolton defender, and Ross Wallace then put the free kick over the bar.
