i used to be proud to be associated with a group of fans that were loyal and passionate but despite that we didnt get above our station,we inthe main remembered that we are a small lancashire club froma traditional lancashire mill town, and were very appreciative of any success that came our way no matter how big or small or who brought us that success. What has changed? all of a sudden there seems to be a larg section of fans demanding "big name mangers" and things of such like. Who is to say GB wanted the job full time anyway?

If we are going to get a new manager I would rather we do it know so the new manager has at least 2 weeks of the transfer window to look to bring their own players in rather than appoint him at the end of Jan when he is stuck with the squad, like Berg was!

Appleton might not be my first choice but if he is the man the club want then at least they have for once moved fast and got him in as soon as possible with time to mould the squad in the way he wants before the window shuts.

I live in Blackpool, and their fans aren't that bothered however the one thing they all agree is that the Blackpool team under Appleton is much fitter than it was under Olly and more organised defensively! 2 things that the Rovers team are seriously lacking.

I cant believe how many times fans say 'oh well we need to get behind them' and 'you never know, he might be the man' How many lessons do some people need in recognizing incompetence and wrangling behind the scenes most of which is nothing to do with football? Im sick of information being distributed by those who profess to be in positions where information can be accessed more directly and then it turns out not to be true. I dont believe anything related to that club anymore. I dont believe BRAG, Shebby, Shagnew, JA. I will shortly be doubting I am stood in the Blackburn End.
