SQUASH star Laura Massaro says she is working hard to try and catch world number one Nicol David.
The 29-year-old from Chorley lost to the Malaysian ace in the final of the World Open on the Camen Islands.
It was the first time the British number one, who lives in Hoghton, had reached the final and capped a memorable 2012.
“You have to work really hard to beat Nicol,” said the 29-year-old. “We’re all working really hard to get closer but she steps up the challenge too.”
