HIGH-scoring Barnoldswick were caught cold as two early goals sealed victory for Congleton.
Barlick, who have netted 16 goals in a three-match winning run, never recovered from conceding two goals in the opening 16 minutes.
Matthew Worrall put Congleton ahead in the sixth minute and Louis James doubled the lead 10 minutes later.
Billy Priestley pulled a goal back in the 63rd minute but for once, Barlick could not find another goal to earn a point.
