With luck you might find this Rioja reduced by £1 at Morrisons or £2 at Tesco until August 5 which makes a well-priced wine an absolute steal.
Here's a classic Spanish red made with Tempranillo grapes which might not be subtle but which is smooth, rounded and great for easy drinking with most kinds of food or on its own.
