The Government is now stating that the terror threat is ‘severe’ and could happen anywhere at anytime and yet again they now wanting to monitor our telephone calls and internet use, in order to track down terrorists and paedophiles and no doubt the list will grow.
Is it that our security services are no longer fit for purpose - which I doubt - or is it the Government using scaremongering tactics to gain popular support for their new measures? Or is it that they simply wish to gain more control over us?
Strange thing is, when UKIP gained its first elected MP, Douglas Carswell, the terror threat was raised to ‘severe’, now we have our second MP, Mark Reckless, and ‘bingo’ the same thing has happened. I suspect that they recognise the real threat they face is from Nigel Farage and UKIP’s people’s army!
