IF you train and ask a horse to carry a jockey on its back, race and jump fences you are putting the horse at great risk.

If, when like Little Josh, a fall results in the horse having to be put down, the connections will of course at a turn be both sad and hypocritical.

Still, hypocrisy will always finish second behind the chance of winning a cash prize, as will sadness.
