Dear Readers, As promised here’s our weekly update.

Well, things certainly are hotting up this week. Hollie could be following Burnley FC to Wembley in a couple of weeks - if she gets through to the next round.

Hollie is counting the days until May 23 when the semi finalists are revealed.

If she manages to get through she will be performing in the Wembley studio in a live semi-final any night that week.

We are praying it’s not the same night as Burnley’s play-off match.   Hollie says “it’s like waiting for Christmas.”   Hollie’s been busy at school taking her Sats exams and when returning home in an evening, practising her songs.

Last Saturday we travelled to London to have a singing lesson with Yvie Burnett.

She has worked miracles on Hollie's song choices which are beginning to sound wonderful.

If Hollie manages to get through to the final we promise you the final song is gorgeous, a big shocking song to rival Susan Boyle’s Les Mis piece.  Hollie is off too London again on Saturday to have a dress fitting with the designers followed by another singing lesson.

Then on Monday she is meeting with the Radio Times to have a photo taken with other possible finalists.

Just as an added pressure Hollie’s brother Joshua is smothered in a cold. Hollie is desperately trying to avoid catching it.

Poor Joshua was this morning confined to his bedroom. He doesn’t mind really. Josh wants Hollie to do well and being a singer himself he knows how difficult it would make it if she caught a cold. Fingers crossed he keeps it to himself.

Hollie would like to thank everyone again for all their support. She says “Please, please don’t forget to vote for me if I get through.

"I’m having the best time ever and I don’t want it to stop.”
