AT last the media has shown us something that really is in the ‘public interest’.

Last Tuesday we saw hundreds of refugees intimidating drivers and stowing away into their vehicles so that they could cross the Channel and break into our country.

As members of the EU we cannot stop them – or even control them.

I find it hard to believe that any of these people were doctors, scientists, nurses, teachers, or in any way ‘desirables’ to have in our society, as their behaviour was thuggish and lawless.

We must leave the EU immediately, through a referendum before it is all too late.

Apologies to those naïve enough to believe pro-European propaganda promoted by much of the media.

Apologies also to: the bankers, industrialists, politicians and all the ‘others’ who stand to make their fortunes and become very powerful by staying in the EU.

Surely we could bring back many of our troops from foreign climes to defend our boarders and search every vehicle entering our country.

We must do something now.

I believe there is no advantage, for the majority of us, by being in the EU.

For many years prior to 1975 most of us were pretty content with life, governed by our own democratically-elected MPs who knew Britain and its people. I can see nothing to be afraid of by leaving the EU.
