THE hunting ban cannot be lifted.

Many people pass off fox hunting as pest control, which is totally untrue. In order to have a decline in their numbers there would have to be a population mortality of 64 per cent or more, while the hunts account for six-10 per cent of foxes killed. Gamekeepers and farmers who shoot problematic foxes are enough to keep the population down, rendering the hunts useless.

Surely there are more pressing things to deal with in politics.

The economy maybe? People living out of foodbanks?

The majority of people do not want the hunting ban lifted. Mr Cameron wanting to make his friends happy is not a due cause.

He needs to remember that the majority of the country did not want a Tory government and they will not stand for this injustice.
