We are now on the political “merry go round” – each party is coming up with different ideas daily, trying to out-do the others. Many ideas have not been thought through and unravel under scrutiny.

Each party is trying to offer more than the others in order to get your vote; it’s like listening to children in the playground.

I’m fed up of hearing clichés such as long term “economic plan” and “hard working families”. Conservatives and Labour have no doubt at great expense, brought in so called strategy advisers. Both parties would have been better getting some ordinary people off the street who are in touch with life as it is for “real people”.

We are told we are now under threat of being held to “ransom” by the SNP if they align with Labour. What I fail to understand is the fact that Scotland has it’s own parliament. Why therefore, are there Scottish MPs at Westminster? Talk about the English being “sold down the river”.

For the first time ever I’m thinking of not voting, unless on the voting paper they have a section ‘None of the above’.
