Double standards
Re: Question of respect by Salim Mulla (LT Letters, January 30).
I am writing in response to some negative comments made by readers of the LT about Michele Obama. I stand by my comments.
In my letter I said that Mrs Obama should have conformed to the values and the principle of Saudi Arabia by covering her head. I wrote this because of double standards.
When Mrs Obama visited the Vatican she covered her head and conformed to the custom and the values of the Vatican.
She has two rules. One for own faith and one for others’ faith.
