Letter: Queen takes a short-cut
IT was a great honour for Blackburn to have the Queen in town and especially at Rovers.
But doesn’t it say it all about the road system and folly of closing Church Street in the first place that it had to be reopened to get the royal car to the cathedral? If it had had to take the road open to the ordinary folk, she would probably still be on her way now!
