Grade Two listed building in Bacup to be auctioned
9:30pm Thursday 5th April 2012 in Bacup
A GRADE Two-listed building in Bacup will be going under the hammer at a Manchester auction later this month.
Property auctioneer Pugh & Co will auction 178 residential and commercial lots from Lancashire, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle – including the empty grade II listed market hall in Bacup.
The town centre building is being offered at £125,000 plus.
The auction will be held at Manchester United Football Club at 12pm on April 19th.
Kate Lay, head of Pugh & Co’s residential division, said she has seen an upsurge in the number of people buying and selling properties at auction.

As to the old cinema/bingo hall - B&E Boys bought it and so far have done nothing with it. There are rumours - but you can't listen to them - can you?
