A POLICE officer has appeared before a judge and denied an allegation of misconduct in public office.
Ihsan Ali, 40, who is a response officer with Lancashire Constabulary’s East Division, spoke only to confirm his name and enter his not guilty plea.
Ali, who lives in Bacup, is alleged to have had inappropriate relationships with two female victims of crime between May 26, 2016, and April 8, 2017.
Defending, Robert Smith told the court he would be applying to move the case to a court outside of Lancashire.
Aki, who wore a black suit, yellow tie and white shirt, was given unconditional bail.
A provisional trial date was listed to be heard at Preston Crown Court on January 29, 2017.
