A NEW Neighbourhood Watch scheme has been set up in Loveclough.
The scheme covers Swinshaw Close and the junction of Goodshaw avenue North and Burnley Road.
The main aims of the scheme are to prevent crime, reassure people, encourage neighbourliness and help protect people and property.
There are 36 active Neighb-ourhood Watch schemes in Rossendale with another 11 pending launches.
Neighbourhood Watch forms a partnership between a group of residents in an area and the neighbourhood policing team in that area.
