A 24-YEAR-OLD man assaulted his partner as they made their way home from a night out because he believed she had been 'flirting' with another man.
Blackburn magistrates heard a witness shouted out of her window that Cori Burke was a 'bully' and she was calling the police.
And when an officer told Burke he was being arrested he said: "I don't think so" and ran off up a back alley.
Burke, 24, of Ribble Street, Bacup, pleaded guilty to assaul and resisting a police officer.
He was fined £120 with £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
