A FORMER teacher from Fearns School in Rossendale has been charged with sexual offences.
Andrew Willson, 47, of Hollowell, Northampton, was arrested in December 2014 after a complaint from a former pupil.

Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service Mr Willson has been charged with seven counts of indecent assault and four counts of gross indecency on two girls between March 1994 and December 1996.
The offences were allegedly committed when Mr Willson worked as an English and Drama teacher at the Rossendale school.
The alleged victims were girls aged between 13 and 15 years old at the time. Some of the alleged offences were committed on the school premises.
Mr Willson has been bailed to appear before Burnley Magistrates’ Court on October 13th.
