A NEW gin festival in the Ribble Valley is roaring to go for its launch event next week.
The first Whalley Lions Gin Festival will arrive in the Ribble Valley at the Atrium at Oakhill School on Friday from 7pm to 10pm.
The event is in aid of Whalley & District Lions, part of Lions Club International, which is celebrating its Centennial year.
Gins will be available to sample on the night with discounted gin & tonics served by Jack’s of Whalley, with the ability to buy your favourite bottle on the night from The Whalley Wine Shop.
Tickets are priced at £10 per head, with early bird tickets available for £9 from the Whalley Wine Shop and Jack’s of Whalley.
All proceeds will go to support various community causes including village clean ups, children's and fundraising events.
Tickets can be reserved via the gin festival event page on Facebook.
