RESIDENTS have until Friday, May 22, to give their views on plans to transform a disused Whalley cemetery, to Ribble Valley’s council.
The Ribble Valley Remembrance Park, in Mitton Road, was the final resting place of 995 Calderstones Hospital patients.
At the end of the plot is a area for local men who died serving in the First and Second World Wars, which is looked after seperately.
A series of planning applications for the site have been approved since 2008 but have not been acted on.
