Amanda Holden and James Corden were among celebrities who shared their thoughts on the unfolding royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton by posting a series of messages online.
As has become the norm with notable occasions, famous faces took to Twitter to air their views - some complimentary and others less so - as they followed the event.
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden tweeted: "Great atmosphere. Crowds are so polite. I feel proud to be British."
Actor and comic James Corden had his own wedding gossip: "I know for a fact that Kate and Wills first dance is Make You Feel My Love by Adele."
Radio 1 DJ Sarah Cox was getting emotional as she tweeted: "Already shed a tear at Beeb's old footage of a young Wills and his mum."
As the happy couple met at the altar, chart star Paloma Faith tweeted: "He's the cat that got the cream! He just said "you look beautiful" ahhhhhhhhhhhhh swoon!!!! I'm melting!"
Actress Martine McCutcheon was also enjoying the occasion: "I'm feeling very moved. Keep thinking of the wonderful Diana looking over her boys and the gorgeous Kate."
Meanwhile, TV presenter Piers Morgan tweeted: "One overriding thought watching this magnificent occasion: The British Monarchy is back."
However broadcaster and wit Stephen Fry had given the wedding a miss and chosen to watch the Snooker World Championship instead. He tweeted: "Sh! Frame 14 under way. You could cut the tension with a Black and Decker tension cutter."
