A 15-year-old boy has been charged with raping an 11-year-old boy in a game of truth or dare.
The youth, who cannot be named, is accused of forcing the younger boy to perform a sex act on him by threatening to ‘knock his teeth out’ if he refused.
The victim told police that at first it was a ‘game of truth or dare’ before he was forced into it.
The boy, from Longridge, appeared at Blackburn Magistrates Court on Friday where it emerged the alleged offence took place at some point between September and October this year in the grounds of St Paul’s Church, Longridge, as a group of friends played hide and seek.
The teenager is already facing two other charges of rape in similar circumstances on another 11-year-old boy. He was first arrested by police in June this year and charged with two counts of rape on October 20.
On Thursday he was arrested again and charged with a third count of rape.
The boy’s parents were in court to hear the nature of the allegations against their son.
His case was sent to Preston Crown Court.
