RIBBLE Valley restaurant Northcote has won a national wine award.
Northcote, in Langho, won the ‘AA England Wine Award 2013-14’ at the ceremony at the London Hilton in Park Lane.
The award recognises an ‘outstanding contribution to promoting wine understanding and appreciation’ while demonstrating a high quality wine list and the ability to inspire customers to a wider and more adventurous choice in selecting wines.
Managing director Craig Bancroft said: “The award means a great deal to me personally and all the wine team. To be recognised by the industry at this level is such an honour and a great achievement.
“It truly reflects all the hard work and research carried out these past 24 months to ensure we offer our customers a great selection of wines whilst dining with us.”
The award joins recent recognition by the Wine Spectator, Restaurant Wine List and a bronze award in the ‘Small Hotel of the Year’ by VisitEngland.
