Faulty dishwasher causes house fire in Wilpshire, Blackburn
A FAULTY dishwasher caused a house fire in Blackburn.
Fire crews were called to a house fire in Wilpshire, Blackburn at around 11.30pm after a faulty dishwasher set the house on fire.
Firefighters said the dishwasher was on fire and the kitchen was heavily smoke logged.
The fire was extinguished shortly after.
Officers said the kitchen was smoke damaged and there were scorch marks around the area of the dishwasher.
Nobody was injured.
