RIBBLE Valley MP Nigel Evans has made a fresh call for people accused of sexual offences to receive anonymity until they are charged.
Mr Evans made the call after the Metropolitan Police confirmed yesterday that an investigation into rape claims against MP Mark Pritchard had been dropped.

Mr Pritchard, Conservative MP for The Wrekin in Shropshire since 2005, was arrested last month following an alleged incident in central London.
The MP voluntarily attended a police station for questioning and was bailed pending further inquiries.
Mr Evans first called for a change in the law after being acquitted of a series of sexual offences last year. He said: “I’m pleased for Mark Pritchard.
“Anonymity until charged would have spared enormous stress and trauma.
“It’s time to change the law.”
