A LEAK left residents in Barrowford with little, or no, water overnight.
A team of engineers worked to repair the leak, in Gisburn Road, which was reported to United Utilities just after midnight yesterday morning.
It meant householders still had poor pressure, or no water at all, by mid- morning.
A statement on the water company’s website said: “Due to difficulties with the repairs, our team of engineers was taking a little longer to fix the burst water pipe than we expected.
“We’re sorry for the continued disruption to your water supply,” added the statement.
