FOUR men arrested after a dispute between rival groups in Nelson have been bailed until January 15.

A man was stabbed in the stomach and three friends received injuries to their face and upper body after a confrontation in Rhoda Street early on Sunday.

The victims, all in their 20s and thought to be Eastern Europeans, managed to make it as far as Hendon Road, where they called on a householder, asking for help as their friend had been stabbed.
