Dead dog causes motorway delays at Nelson

TRAFFIC built up on the M65 after a dead dog was found by the side of the motorway.

Police were called to junction 13 at 9.10am after receiving reports of a black and white lurcher lying at the roadside.

It is understood there was no road traffic collision.

I also don't know why it caused such delays. Travel in other countries and you may see Deer, Elk, even Bears, living or dead along the fields and beside the road, yet it causes no traffic delays. It was a dead dog, end of story!
