ONE of East Lancashire’s main mountain rescue teams is celebrating a double donation.
Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team recently received equipment worth £1,000 from civil engineering firm BAM Nuttall Limited.
The donation included a new lightweight, multi-purpose stretcher, lifting bridles, and two pulse oximeters, which monitor oxygen saturation levels in the blood.
The group has also been awarded £1,500 by Lancashire Police under the Proceeds of Crime Act. which it will spend on a laptop and colour laser printer.
