Pendle MP awards Christmas card prize

THE winning design in MP Andrew Stephenson’s annual Christmas card competition came from 10-year-old Skye Charnley, of Blacko Primary School.
Runners-up were Ethan Conroy, four, of Holy Trinity Primary, Brierfield, and Molly Heseltine, 10, of Barrowford School.
In total, 28 prizes were presented to entrants.
Mr Stephenson said: “I am delighted that the Marsden Building Society have sponsored this year’s competition again.
“The standard this year was very high, making it even more difficult to choose, so I decided that I’d have to award more Highly Commended certificates than in previous years.”
