TWO lucky winners will get their Italian hampers this week from Colne’s new Italian deli, La Dolce Vita.
Catherine Beresford, from Clitheroe, who works at Stanley House Vets, and David de Andrade, from Colne Osteopathy, won hampers after taking part in a market research survey for the new business .
They have won Italian products including Italian wine and artisan bread.
Sara Mumby and Sarah Lee will be running the new deli at 40 Albert Road, Colne, next to Jowett’s and almost opposite the old post office.
They said: “It’s our way of saying ‘grazie’ for helping us with ideas for our business and commenting on how we could find the right location for our new shop.
“We felt very strongly about setting up shop in Colne.”
The deli opened its doors for the first time on Friday and will be open until Christmas Eve, and then again on New Year’s Eve.
