Crash causes traffic delays in Nelson

The scene of the crash
A CAR roof had to be cut off after it ran into the back of the vehicle in front.
The Vauxhall Insignia had crashed into the back of a Toyota Yaris in Scotland Road, Nelson.
Police were called to the scene at 1pm.
A spokeswoman said: “The occupants of the Insignia had complained of minor injuries so the roof had to be taken off the vehicle.”
There was some congestion on the road although it remained open.
